The last few days I have done what I can to make sure I have been eating better again- making sure my water and liquid intake are on track. No more junk/processed food from now on probably until close to my birthday...and hoping to loose about 5lbs of fat and replace it with muscle by summer. I think this entire overhaul is about more than just being healthier - it's about being physically at my highest potential. I am always going on about how intellectually and consciously we should force ourselves to peak out and do our absolute best for ourselves all the time. Shouldn't this also apply to our health? My heart is just as important as my brain-there for I need to tend to the organs I have accordingly. Each one of my organs literally feeds off of what I eat- therefore if I feed myself the best food I am doing the best for myself. I am still thinking of going back to eating completely vegan, but my doctor worries about my iron levels, but funny enough I don't eat red meat ever- and barely eat meat anyways so it isn't benefiting me at all...so vegetarian this week and next- and vegan after that. Plus no junk, working out 5 times a week, this will include kettle bell, cardio and yoga, don't forget my snowboarding but since I am back in the city now I don't believe that I will have that many more times of the slopes this season after tomorrow. Not that I can complain- I have been in two different resorts on the east coast and have had over 20 riding days already.... I am going to try to hit up one of the parks in the city too just to get out there .... I am very excited about being more conscious about something so important. Being the best me is basically my goal. We create ourselves. This is me creating myself.

no freedom like mountain air ;;

No matter what is going on in your life to make you feel a negative way- can all disappear into tomorrow with the joyous travel of a chair lift up into fresh air, to the tight snowy turns, fresh beats and sunshine blaring down on exposed cheeks. I can't imagine anyone not having the time of their life. The warmth of the lodge for lunch is the perfect refuel for the afternoon, healthy homemade packed meals and snacks are my choice to make sure I am feeding my body the proper nutrients for a productive day-and if you're lucky, like we are here in Ontario, even though we have tiny "mountains"- you wait for the 4PM groomers and run first tracks on the cordory right before night sessions on the slopes. Getting a chance to hit two sets of machine groomed goodness is a definite advantage to east coast riding-although I am almost positive every single person out there would say powder turns are like no other, ALL I AM SAYING IS MAKE THE BEST OF THE EAST COAST HARD PACKED DREAM COME TRUE....

I can't imagine a better way to sharpen my skills than hours in the resort perfecting my style, and trying new things every time I get to the slopes. I fill my free time reading about my addiction, and probably watching a small part of the million of documentaries, movies and online videos featuring none other than my snowy friend-snowboarding.... I think I am hopelessly addicted for life-but unlike others and their addictions, I am not trying to get rid of mine, I will continue to search for the next fix!
